Die-hard fans of Joe Deloss’s Hot Chicken Takeover can now rejoice because a new spot is open at the Easton Gateway at 4198 Worth Avenue, Columbus, Ohio. This makes his 3rd store in Columbus. The other locations are at the North Market in the Short North and Clintonville.

The Nashville-style hot chicken restaurant’s grand opening + ribbon cutting ceremony took place November 6th for the public.

The first 25 people in line received a free meal, and the next 25 people in line received a free Miss B’s banana pudding.

I had the opportunity to get a sneak-peak before the grand-opening on Nov. 4 and I am happy to report that the five-piece wing meal was delicious and seasoned to perfection.

5-piece chicken wing combo with Mac n cheese and coleslaw. Banana pudding was the dessert option.

My sides were  Mac & cheese  and coleslaw  that would make anybody’s Ma or Titi give the thumbs up 👍🏾. Let’s not even get me going on the Miss B’s banana pudding… okay let’s go, it was fluffy, sweet and savory at same dang time!

Staff member Starr takes the time to give the “thumbs up” in between serving guests.

The staff were awesome. They were very attentive and offered great conversation. You don’t get that everywhere and that’s important to me, so I appreciate it.

The owner Joe Deloss was present and he took the time to say hello to everyone and thank them for supporting his business. He was truly genuine because I have been to his former location in Oldtowne East on several occasions and he was the same, genuine.
